First time coming to pearl campsite. The staff was amazing, very friendly and accommodating. We didn't go in the pool as it was a cold day and raining, bit it looked so inviting and clean. It reminds me when you go abroad. Definitely worth coming to pearl. Caravan was spotless with complimentary tea towel and fairy liquid, with sponge and cloth. Also extra bin bags. Very happy. X

Had some nice holidays her in the past. Just tried to book a weekend but didn't bother because they wanted £90 for my two dogs for the weekend.
How can that be justified 🤷

We had such a lovely weekend away for a 29th birthday. The caravan was more of a lodge and the rooms/hot tub and facilities were fantastic.

The only let down was the security/maintenance male member of staff who approached the women in the hot tub from behind, in the dark to advise quite aggressively that we had to get out due to a noise complaint, despite there being no talking, music or noise other than the jets.

This person really let the place down and left the women in our group feeling really uncomfortable and unsafe. We’re just glad the guys came out at the time as he expected the ladies to exit the hot tub in their bikinis while he watched despite the hot tub being in a private, closed off location.

Having stayed in Haven and Parkdean parks all over the UK over the years, I was hoping for a similar experience here.
I booked a luxury van for 3 adults and 2 children. I would honestly say this was a basic van.....not luxury.The luxury part must have been the tiny decking and towels. The small toilet constantly smelt of urine.
The spare duvet had blood stains on it.
The pull out bed was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever tried to sleep on. You can feel every bar underneath.
The vans are all crammed together, not much room for parking, so cars all over the road. And advising us to leave the car well away in a car parking space at entrance when we have two toddlers is unacceptable. We squeezed both cars down the side of the van anyway,and hoped no-one blocked us in.
There was a very noisy family opposite with music blaring,shouting and generally making people feel uneasy.
The food in the on site restaurant was lovely, but it was like sitting in a working mans social club though.
We found the pub across the road better with added bonus of a carvery.
The arcade was never open...and is so small. Machines were broken.
The pool area was beautiful..we didn't use it during our stay though.
There was no lighting along the path around the park behind our van.
We were glad it was only 3 nights...anymore and I would have insisted on being upgraded or having a refund and going home.

We went to old Beachcomber several years ago. Trying it under new ownership did make us yearn for the old version. The vans were fine, except we had to get maintenance to adapt the van entrance to allow my wheelchair bound daughter, despite her telling them when booking what her requirements were. Other than the initial problem, the van was actually ideal for her.
The entertainment was nothing like previous visits. I don't think we'll be going back.

We have visited the site multiple times. The park is quiet and relaxing. The caravans are always clean and cosy! Any problems are dealt with very quickly. And the staff are lovely! Perfect place to stay for a get away!

‼️Caution‼️ very poor customer service by Pam👄. Long story cut short Pam told us to take a caravan what smells very strongly of dog and cheap bleach or go home apparently it is what we booked a dog friendly caravan but they could not show us no proof that we booked it. Sofas where stained also the carpets the whole caravan the whole caravan stinks of bleach. Dave the general manager he did help a little bit more. All the staff do work hard and are very friendly but they look very run down most likely down to the management I think this place would run perfectly with new management what to respect their staff and customers. We was told to go into a tiny office where we met Pam, 👄 Pam told us to go home or take the caravan. we have two kids and grandmother
manager Dave entered the room Pam starts smirking at the manager very unprofessional and also lied. My personal opinion the whole place would run a lot better without Pamela.

Upon arrival the guest services were extremely polite & also contacted us the next day to check everything was OK with our caravan. Caravan was beautiful with opening patio doors giving us the extra feeling of outside/inside 😄.
Very clean, beds comfortable & added benefit of a dish washer. Great pub across the road & 10 minute to the coast. Great stay 🤩
