Attended a two stage interview which went well. However, as I had two potential offers, Morgan Ryder informed me that they would not put me forward as wanting the role and would favour the other candidate due to working with another agent. The next day, as expected, I received a telephone call informing me I was not successful. The phone call was not needed as Morgan Ryder informed me of this fact at 1630 the day before. Was I put forward? I will never know.

Absolutely brilliant recruitment agency to work for. I was always given the information I needed if I had any enquirys or problems. The 18 months that I was with them was a dream. Would most definitely recommend Morgan Ryder.

I did not have a great experience with Harriet and how she handled the process from arranging my interview to post interview. I feel that she did not fully understand that the company that was hiring was overexpecting the experience that graduates have. Althought the job title was graduate process engineer/production engineer, they expected applicants to have experience working in industry. Given that the majoirty of graduates do not undertake a placement year as part of their degree, this was very unreasonable. Harriet should have communicated this with her client. The worst part of my experience was the absolute lack of communication from Harriet post interview to relay her clients hiring decision and to give feedback. None of that was done. Not a single phone call or email to let me know how I had done and to give me feedback. It was only when I had written her an email and called more than 6 times that Harriet called me back. Untruthfully, she said she had tried to call me but couldn't reach me. Only feedback she gave me was 'I did not have enough experience'. Very disappointed with the whole experience given that we jobseekers spend a lot of time preparing job applications and interviews.
