I had tried, for half a year, to get information from another flagpole company about how a 6-metre pole should be safely set into the ground. Many messages later, I was still none the wiser.
Half an hour with the team at Flagpole Express and I not only knew exactly what I needed to do, as ground preparation, but I had ordered the pole.
The flagpole, and its associated kit, arrived within a few days and the base was set into concrete. After nine days, to allow the concrete to fully set, we had the fun of installing the flagpole during the village's Open Garden Weekend.
Now comes the fun of chosing which flags to fly on appropriate days.

I had the notion to have a flag pole a couple of tears ago but no idea about the purchase or installation of one. Visited Flagpole Express and received first class advice and within days I had one expertly installed and advised on how to raise/lower flags. Many and varied flags have entertained us and passers by until recent wind damage resulted in a snapped cord. Again contacted the original supplier who, within days, had the original installer, Jason, out to re-cord it and re fit the replacement flag. However, it was not the right size but Flagpole Express returned the same day with a new flag. Fantastic service ice, great attitude. If you want anything to do with flags you'd be foolish to go anywhere else.

Flagpole Express have been very patient with me, as a mere church warden with no tower or flagpole experience, asking loads of questions. They have always got back to me very quickly to explain what things are and why we needed stays etc. They installed our new 8m flagpole yesterday on the top of our grade 1 listed church tower and took their time explaining and demonstrating how to clip the flag on and raising and lowering the flag. It was a shame that there was no breeze yesterday, but look at the video to see how beautifully the flag is flying today.

I enquired with several companies about whether bespoke feather flags could be made to fit our existing poles so that we could waste less and save money. Flagpole Express were the only company that were able to cater for us, they had real email responses rather than templates, and they were quick to respond as well. On top of that, the bespoke flags were delivered quickly and they fit perfectly onto our existing poles.
