We chose the build your own teddy bear party and wow, I could not recommend these guys enough! They was incredible from start to finish, the minute I stepped into the building they where taking everything off me and I didn’t have to lift a finger the whole way through. The women who ran the party where absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough for us 🥹 we are so greatful and I’ll definitely be booking the same party for our little girl next year, thank you so much for everything We’ll definitely be recommending you to everyone, it’s fair to say we have one very happy little boy!😁

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration following our visit to your play centre today, which was our fourth visit this year. We attended with our three children, aged 5, 15, and 14, only to encounter issues with inconsistent and unclear policy enforcement that left us feeling unwelcome.

After just five minutes of play, a staff member approached us, informing us that our two eldest children could not play due to a height restriction. We were told that your insurance policy now only covers children 140cm and under, whereas on previous visits, the limit had been 150cm. I questioned this change, especially since there had been no issues with their height previously, but did not receive a satisfactory response from the staff member. Despite this, we complied and told our two eldest that they could not accompany their younger sibling within the designated play area due to the policy.

However, about an hour later, my eldest noticed an adult – clearly above 150cm – playing football in the same area with his child. When my eldest raised this with the same staff member, they were told that it was allowed because the individual was an adult. This explanation made little sense, as it seems to undermine the logic of the supposed "height restriction." It came across as an arbitrary rule, inconsistently enforced depending on who the staff chose to permit.

We understand and respect policies that ensure the safety of everyone, but if restrictions are in place, they should apply equally to everyone. It is unacceptable for some individuals to be given exemptions while others are not, especially when the reasoning given is inconsistent and unclear.

Suffice to say, we left feeling extremely disappointed, and we do not plan on returning to Little Buddies. Rules are fair only when they are enforced equitably, and I hope this feedback encourages a review of how policies are communicated and applied.

Thank you for taking the time to consider our experience. I look forward to your response.

Response to the owner

Thank you for responding to my concerns. However, there are still significant issues with how policies were applied and explained during our visit.

The main point of contention wasn’t the height restriction itself, but rather its inconsistent and selective enforcement. Contrary to your statement, the manager initially only questioned whether we had paid for our older children, not that their height was an issue. After we confirmed they wouldn’t be actively participating, we were then told about the height restriction. I complied and asked my older children not to enter the play area, yet later observed a clear double standard when an adult, taller than 148cm, was allowed to play in the same area without restriction.

The explanation that adults are allowed to “supervise” does not address why height-based safety standards wouldn’t apply equally to both adults and children. If the restriction is in place to protect smaller children, allowing adults, with greater height and weight, to actively play in the same space seems contradictory. I’m also concerned about whether your insurance provider is aware that adults exceeding the height limit are allowed on the equipment.

As a parent, I support safety policies, but selective enforcement diminishes their effectiveness. Either all individuals taller than 148cm should be restricted, or clearer guidelines should define “supervision” versus “play.” Applying this policy equally to both adults and children would prevent confusion and ensure fairness.

Thank you for considering this feedback.

We had our daughter’s 3rd birthday party here today after visiting the play centre multiple times. The staff were amazing and extremely thorough. They checked allergies and preferences multiple times and made sure our little girl had the best afternoon she possibly could. The lady who looked after the party whilst they played games and cut the cake was fantastic!

We would highly recommend and look forward to seeing you again! Thank you 👌

This place is amazing, think of everything. Been a few times now, for parties and for some play time with my son and his friends.
2 occasions where I've needed something ie a nappy for my granddaughter and it's there. Kids have an amazing time. Staff are lovely and the place is clean and has a lot do different play. Imagination and creative play are great. Something for all. Food is great too. Will be coming back again and would recommend to all.
A little gem of a place.
Thanks again 😊

We went to little buddy's for there toddlers only Halloween party with our one year old. There is two different large soft play areas that are really good with multiple layers and a big slide all of which seems well maintained. one for younger children (under 4) and one for older children aswell as a sensory area and small ball pit. The staff are friendly and attentive and seem to enjoy there jobs.
There is a café catering for both adults and children with nice food as well as having really good coffee and a range of soft drinks everything seems to be kept to a good standard of cleanliness.
They also do classes for children such as messy play which my girlfriend attends with my daughter who thourghly enjoys it. Overall I would recommend a visit with your little ones.

Thank you for hosting my little boy (Reuben’s) 5th Birthday party. We had a relaxed morning enjoying a coffee whilst the kids played. They then went up to the party room and the quality of food was excellent and the host couldn’t do enough for us. We played pass the parcel and as a parent everything was taken care of (including cutting up the cake) thank you so much xx

My first time at this softplay and we loved it. The kids had so much to do and didn't want to leave. No pressure to be kicked out due to it being a week day. We were able to have a good mommy catch up, over what I can only describe as THEE BEST CLUB SANDWICH!!!!!
Overall good value for money, lovely food, clean and tidy throughout and the staff/Management were lovely and friendly.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND ♡
