Terrible Experience with F D Signs - Avoid at All Costs!

I had an absolutely awful experience with F D Signs. I was charged £400 for a job, but they ended up installing it in the wrong place after I clearly specified where I wanted it. When I tried to pay by card or bank transfer, they insisted on cash only, which seemed really shady, almost like they were trying to dodge taxes or avoid government scrutiny.

Things got even worse when they demanded I go to a cash machine to get the money but insisted I leave my phone with them as "insurance." Who does that? I left my phone, but when I checked on my van, I saw them messing with my vehicle and even taking out my key. I had to call the police to get my key back, and only after that did they return it.

As if this wasn't bad enough, when I got back from the cash machine, they had the nerve to charge me an extra £20, with no justification at all! This company is unprofessional, shady, and borderline criminal. I would never recommend them to anyone. Stay away if you value your money and sanity

I used F D Signs to do new sign board for my dental practice. Paul came to see me for site survey and designing, he was extremely knowledgeable and experienced, he gave all the options with pros and cons and guided me properly. After I approved the design they delivered and installed the new sign board earlier than agreed date which was excellent. The quality of the sign board and design is excellent, we are having very positive reviews from our patients and my colleagues. We had slight problem with our shutter after the sign board was installed, Fintan (the lead engineer) within no time came back and sorted all out which was great post-installation customer care. Normally I have seen once you pay the companies they don't want to hear from you after that but F D Signs gave me very positive experience and I have no hesitation recommending them to anyone looking for quality work at very reasonable price. I wish them well.

AVOID AVOID AVOID.
Paid £1,800for signs for a business and then added another £200 for sign writing- this was completed by incompetence person whom never informed it wouldn’t stick so it fell off after a few hours-one wasn’t in the job either forgot all his tools and had to return the next day for them showed him it had fallen off and he ignored the fact and left.
Banners were arranged not only were we then tried to be charged for this but they didn’t arrange a time or day In which they would hang them up- apparently came early in morning before business was open and because nobody was on premises because we weren’t informed they have now STOLEN our money.
Called to speak to owner Fintan and informed I would be going further his reply ‘do what you like’
Disgraceful he was very happy taking the £2,000 off us and now this.
Will be going right to the very end with this.

Started using FD signs 10yrs ago and I never go anywhere else. They are professional and their work is excellent. Highly recommend
