Several months back I asked Alison to help me with my Facebook Strategy. I was fairly happy with my ability to write content but wanted some advice on frequency and types of posts to help boost organic reach and engagement. Alison was very professional and collected lots of information in advance of our session so she was able to put a strategy together and walk me through it. I already suspected I was making a few mistakes but Alison always dealt with these diplomatically and with good humour. All the feedback and advice was constructive and she was very good at checking I was understanding it all along the way. The result was that I ended up posting less often and boosted my organic reach from around 1000 up to about 5000 at it's peak. I have since let the strategy slip due to other priorities but I plan to re-introduce it shortly. That's the great thing about having a written strategy prepared is that I can now refer back to it whenever I need it. Using a good social media manager like Alquin is a really good idea, because they know all the stuff you don't – what to do, how to say it, what images work best, what times of day work best for you etc… But more importantly they know what NOT to do – all the stuff that could get your page banned, or limit the reach to your potential customers. From flagged words to the types of images the algorithms don't like. It's not just about sticking some pictures on Facebook.
