Went to electrol event with The Sun. Was ok. Didn't seem as free flowing as the last one I went to. Not as relaxed. Some nibbles and cold/hot drinks to start. Took a good while for them to come out, Was extremely disappointed that sir Kier and Rishi didn't stop and even speak to people or take photos. When Boris and Jeremy had theirs they came out to the crowd and spoke, had conversations! Took photos. They did they're individual interviews with Haar on the stage then literally ran off! Not great impression for me. Was alot of questions they had already answered, there were many other topics and questions that The Sun staff could have chosen. Would have appreciated atleast a hello or hand shake. After was ok, some foods, wines, beer, social time. Some of the other politicians that were there and news commentators came and spoke with people and took pictures.
Harry Cole the presenter was really great, so kind and lovely to talk to. Had time for everyone.
All in all the event itself was ok. Didn't gain much more insight or knowledge unfortunately. Building as to be expected clean, up to date, nice security. Helpful staff.

Do Not use News UK’s Digital services (WebBureau / Zesty)

Having been a loyal customer of the WebBureau since 2008; I booked to get a bespoke website and booking system built by the WebBureau at the end of 2021 with a “Go Live” date planned for 14th February 2023. Work was going well up until August 2022 when everything fell apart. Since then we have had 5 different project managers, poor communication and empty promises. Recently the WebBureau merged with Zesty and the customer service I have experienced has worsened.

To date I have paid £30k and have no website/booking system to show for it. After WebBureau / Zesty missed yet another deadline at the end of March, the company refuses to discuss a refund as they “have put to much work into it” and expects me wait until they can fit me in to get my project done.

Got to go here for an Emerald Street Book event with HarperCollins (which was amazing in itself!). But the views here and the design of the 14th floor (which is the cafe/lounge area for employees, I believe) is really cool. Plus outdoor space!! Wish I worked here.
