It was a real honour to be be invited to judge the 2024 Stroud News and Journal Community Awards which gave us, the judges, the opportunity to hear about some of the truly amazing and innovative businesses and individuals who help to make the whole Stroud area so special. A great event and a great awards scheme. Well done everyone for making it happen.

A brilliant event, showcasing the best of what the people and organisations of Stroud have to offer. Ample opportunity to network with the movers and shakers of the district and, what's more, the food was very, very good. A great night had by all - the hard work by the team was apparent as everything ran so smoothly. Highly recommend for 2025.

The Stroud News and Journal Community Awards 2024 was a marvellous and spectacular event.
It was great to see so many nominee's and winners at this event, the event was well organised, a lot of hard work must have gone into organising the awards ceremony.

It was an honour to receive the award for Best Community Project or Group on behalf of Amberley Shop and Cafe at the 2024 SNJ Community Awards evening in June, almost exactly a year since we first opened in the foyer of Holy Trinity Church in the village. The awards event was well-organised and welcoming with an enjoyable meal served efficiently. Best of all, we had the opportunity to hear the stories of the other nominees in various categories and to gain inspiration from them.

As in 2023 the 2024 Community Awards Night was excellent and showcased a wide cross-spectrum of local community sprit and achievement. As one of the judges this year I had a different perspective. Well done all.
