I was part of the 3 cohort of the Resistance Academy. We were given a warm welcome by the team, Aaron made sure we had everything we needed and check on us at all times. We worked on a live brief, we were given creative freedom to pursue the brief in our style. Matt was super knowledgeable, made sure we did not get nervous and helped us push past our limits. Everyone is very sweet, they’re always ready to help and make sure you don’t feel the pressure of working in such a fast paced and extremely active agency. The office itself is such a great place with no barriers so everyone can interact, share ideas and have fun while doing the best of their work.

Anyone who’s just getting started, has a passion for data driven and creative advertising should enrol for the Resistance Academy, it’s a great place to learn, network and become confident about your skills.

Last week I took part in Rebel Lion's Resistance Academy, and I cannot recommend it enough. If you're looking for a real industry experience like no other then you're in the right place.

Of course I started the week extremely nervous, But the team at Rebel Lion were so great in making us all feel comfortable, that after just the first day I knew I had made the right decision in joining the academy, and that I had an incredible week ahead of me.

Between the fast paced environment and the hands on experience, Rebel Lion offer an experience which you won't find in a classroom. Throughout the week we researched a brand, created a 40-page document, rebranded, strategized, designed social media content, created the content and finally, we then presented a 70 slide pitch to the whole office. All of which was done in a week.

I'll never forget the week I've had at Rebel Lion, and I hope to be able to work with them again when I leave university. The skills and confidence I've gained are priceless and have given me a deeper idea of career options and also significantly boosted my career aspirations.
