My experience with Frogspark is second to none! I was after a website which allowed greater visibility and one which was more visually engaging, as well as being built in responsive design. They created some designs which were so good I barely changed anything, and continually, I recieve comments on how excellent my website looks. The back-end content management system is also one of the easiest I have used. Frogspark also offer marketing support for websites so manage to increase online presence and improve Google rankings; the whole package is there! I would (and have done so) thoroughly recommend Frogspark to anyone who wants to bring their website at the cutting edge of today's digital age.

Where is the option for 10 stars?!

Werth Metrology hired me, with one of my 1st tasks being getting a website set up. I found FrogSpark, and, from the initial call to Rob, I knew they were the right team for us.

They are a team of highly creative individuals who worked to a very specific and complex design brief. We have a wide range of products but I never felt anything was an issue for them. Scott was our Account Manager and he was always available with advice and help, and would always return my calls promptly.

The project itself grew bigger than I think we all expected, and, but thankfully the FrogSpark team were able to keep everything together for us and deliver a fantastic website, on budget and on time.

We will unquestionably be working with them as the functionality of the site increases and they will be my 1st point of call for digital marketing.

I couldn't recommend them enough, they have recently be nominated for an award, and I wish them all the best for that.

Don't look anywhere else, go for FrogSpark.

I made the mistake of choosing Frogspark now part of Digital Maze to build us a WordPress site in 2020. Cost of the build was £6,700 + vat. I summarise the reasons for the poor review below:

1. Not e-commerce friendly
The customer process was slowed down, from adding loading pages to adding up to 20 steps in the customer checkout process. On launching this site our conversation dropped by more than 30%.

2. Slow site / Plugin bloat
It took up to 15 seconds to load our site on older devices. The site was built with modern mobiles and Apple products in mind. The site was launched with 52 plug-ins bloating our site and slowing it down. We regularly experienced bugs with plugin conflicts causing issues with payment handling, and customers being unable to add products to the cart. At the outset of the project we were assured that everything would be coded and they wouldn’t rely heavily on plugins.

3. Poor Project Management
It’s no exaggeration to say that Frogspark delayed the launch of the site more than 30 times over the course of six months. They would regularly claim to have done updates, that when checked simply hadn’t been done. They were careless implementing their own design, so I needed to micromanage their mistakes and inconsistencies with their own design. We’ve discovered careless mistakes like the cookie consent code being inserted twice, causing customers to have to close the request twice.

It should be noted that as soon as the last invoice was paid, we spent another six months post launch chasing them to fix things they said they’d fix in their own work, all part of the original project. They never took or return my calls, and were slow to respond on email communication. This is not what you need from an IT company.

We’ve spent thousands of pounds since launching on conversion rate optimisation and site speed optimisation and developers have discovered many careless mistakes in the code in the process.

Frogspark are a fantastic team to work with. They take full responsibility on the product they're building and making us feel as an extension of the core team at Kifi. They are very receptive to feedback, learning new technologies to improve the quality of work and are great with working out the last mile that makes a good product to an excellent product.

Very disappointing service from Frogspark.
Initially they seem very attentive with prompt replies and quickly scheduled meetings, but it all goes down the drain once you’ve handed over your money.

The design of the site was mediocre at best. I didn’t know any better until I’ve had it redesigned by another company and wow, it is SO much better now.

The price of their service is not in line with what they offer. MUCH cheaper and better options are available. Not knowing this at the time was a mistake.

Problems with launching the site were poorly handled and communication was dreadful. Ignored emails and voicemails went on for weeks. No one ever answers the phone when you need support.

It’s a real shame as Rob appeared very helpful initially, but his team have unfortunately let him down and I have a very sour taste in my mouth along with a LOT of wasted cash.
I wouldn’t expect a response to this review, as they seem to ignore the bad reviews on Google.
Unfortunately this is not a one-off. A colleague of mine is having the exact same experience right now.
