Another person scammed by this company! Fell for the £99 website offer thinking not much to loose and they said it would rank higher than my squarespace website as it was designed from the ground up (I had heard this could be the case so decided I would try it). Next call they want £600 plus vat for search engine optimisation but they had already told me it would rank higher as was custom built so surley not needed. Was annoyed at this point as was clearly becoming a scripted set of tectics to extract money from me. I hadnt even seen what they had put together. On seeing it the design was ok so I though £700 total with optimisation would be ok. Another call for more money £300 plus VAT to be listed on google places, Im almost certain this is normally free as my initial site is listed and didnt cost anything. Then another call because unfortunately my new website they had designed was displaying unsecure (what a coincidense, and clearly designed in by them as a way to ask for yet more money) At this point I told them I wouldnt give them anymore money. They told me they would redirect my initial site to the new site which was never comppleted, and guess what it doesnt rank at all on google (even after £600 on google SEO, I doubt anything was payed to google I have no proof) where as my old squarespace one ranks highly. What a waste of money and stress. Has anyone managed to successfuly take them to a small claims court?

Well the web site they have built me is bringing me more business within 24hrs. People who want more to the web site are obviously going to be charged more just like buying a car more extras more cost. I've had absolutely no more costs and not been pressured into it neither. Thank you for a great service and always there at the end of the phone thank you

After a negative start with this company Jo W took over my account and things have improved significantly, all of the updates I asked for have finally been done with Jo keeping me informed along the way.
It's still to soon to leave a 5 star review but if things carry on as they are now I will come back and amend at a later date.
The one thing I will say is that New World need to train all of their staff to Jo and Emily's standards then their customers wouldn't have such a negative experience at the beginning.

Don’t waste your time with this company, been with them for little over a year, once a month I get a call for a one of payment for some bullshit, just make up stuff to get you to say okay to a payment. So far I’m a little under £4000 into my website, today I cancelled the whole thing..

Oh yeah after me saying I’m cancelling don’t take payment, they tired to take the money twice 😅.

Please do not use this bunch of incompetent liars they are truly the worse company I’ve ever dealt with they have no idea how to do the most simplest of things regarding websites they have in my opinion used a youngster who has limited knowledge and limited skills in building my first website and after numerous calls and attempts to get things right they eventually got to about a marking of 5/10 but when I on many occasions asked them to put some simple spelling mistakes and wording my site correctly it never got taken care of and now when I’m trying to move on they are messing me around and telling me a complete loads of lies so I can simply get everything changed over to someone who knows what to do .
Please stay far away from this poor excuse of a company and save yourself stress and headaches through having to get what you expect from them .

Cold called me to offer me a free website, I asked for them to send the terms so I could review the offer as I was about to set off driving. Arrogant call handler slammed the phone down.

UPDATE: I received a call after this review from their technical director advising the call recording was played back and the call handler was disciplined. After verifying the person messaging me was who he said he was, I’ve changing what was a one star to a three star review. Credit to Chris, who cared enough to contact me back.

I will also consider their offering, however seeing the other reviews. I can see my initial suspicion of a great initial offer maybe followed by some high premiums.
