But we were fortunate enough to encounter the distillery manager, who was kind enough to give us a tasting. He was truly a gentleman; an incredible guy, full of knowledge and history who knows his business. If you're in the area, stop in for a one of a kind experience and taste some surprisingly smooth single malt whiskey.

Showed up unannounced. Was welcomed, however, I highly highly recommend making an appointment (it's actually required). Was very lucky, got a tasting. 10 year, meh, was on par. 13 year was very good. 15 yr, amazing stuff. I purchased a bottle. 18 year was my girlfriends favorite. No added color, all natural. A true gem. Hidden but worth the search and the find. Delicious Scotch!

Not easy to find, on arrival was advised open to public on Tuesday and Thursday, by prior appointment only. Would have liked to have views their choice of whisky's, to add to my collection, even if unable to tour the site.

What a lovely way to spend a couple of hours. Douglas is full of experience and knowledge, and was happy to answer any questions. Even though he's probably heard them all before he didn't roll his eyes. Just answered informativly. I was driving so could barely allow the range of tasters to touch my lips, but was given taster pots to try at home. Give yourself a treat and take a look. You will come home with at least a bit of history.

Amazing tour, guide was full of knowledge and let us sample All of what they had! I couldn't drink as i was driving but they gave me some to go. I'd give this place 6 stars if i could. Place book ahead and please go!!!

Who cares about opening hours. Their whisky is delicious, non chill filtered, no colouring, and smooth as Barry White's bed linen. A must try.

We had a tour of the distillery, and was top notch. If you want a real Scottish distillery then this is it. Oh and the Scotch, sooooo amazing...A new personal favorite
