I absolutely love Indie York! I always try to use independent shops/restaurants etc anyway, but the Indie York map and website have helped me find loads of new places to try! Even during Covid they've been brilliant at highlighting which indies are still open for click-and-collect or takeaway.

We own and operate a small boutique hotel and have been members of Indie York since October 2020, what a fabulous association it is. They advocate for, and give support to, the independent shops, restaurants, hotels and many more within the city. For smaller businesses like ourselves it really is a great organisation to be part of as it gives us another marketing tool to shout about our business amongst the bigger hotels and chains.
