I went into this shop today with my mum. Was greeted by an initially friendly very elderly lady. I was only there to accompany my mother as the clothes are clearly for ages 70 plus.

Unfortunately the elderly lady felt the need to comment "those clothes you're looking at are very small but don't you think everything looks better in a size 8?"

I am a size 16 and while I would never buy anything from this shop, I should be able to accompany my mother without being insulted. I honestly don't know how this shop has survived through the pandemic with this sort of customer service. I wish I had been able to reply with a suitable comment but I was so shocked and upset that all I could do was leave as soon as possible. Disgusted.

I have driven past this shop a few times, today finally I stopped to take a look and I am so glad I did. Beautiful special items that are unique. The lady who owns this shop is knowledgable and a delight to meet. I bought a very special jacket blouse. A wonderful experience all round in a boutique shop that is affordable. thank you so much.
