Wendy is The Real Deal, People. My wife and I run a small estate planning law firm in Virginia, and saw her work on the website of a colleague in Philadelphia and asked who did it. We were referred to her and although I was skeptical, my wife decided to hire her. As usual, she was RIGHT. We really did need her help because we had already hired a local production company to produce our new marketing video for our website, and it was not going to be cheap. We needed to do a good job, and while we have done plenty of court appearances and spoken publicly on numerous occasions, we are total amateurs when it comes to performing in front of a camera.

Wendy was very reassuring about the short timeline, and confident that she could improve our on-camera presence and performance. She helped us set a schedule for coaching and review sessions, and kept on top of it. We are busy lawyers, and my tendency is to avoid doing anything other than exactly what has to be done in the moment in order to meet the deadlines in front of me, but Wendy was persistent and also kind, and I was able to put my misgivings and reluctance behind me and meet with her as scheduled.

I had a strong push, too, from the fact that she had the foresight to schedule my wife ahead of me, and I could see immediately how her first session with Wendy really made a huge improvement in my wife's performance on camera. It was really amazing and far better than I imagined.

So, I was basically set up for success right from the start, thanks to Wendy. And during the first (and all the subsequent) coaching sessions, Wendy was upbeat, pleasant, kind, but also firm. Bad habits are not easy to break, but she was clear in her advice, and seemed to understand just how much to work on in a given meeting, so that I wasn't overwhelmed and could see big improvements right away.

The video was a huge success. We attribute this in no small part to Wendy's excellent coaching. I will say that although I was reluctant to hire her at first, and certainly didn't want to spend the money on something that I thought I didn't really need, I quickly realized that I DID need it, and Wendy really delivered. In the end, on camera, so did we.

If you are on the fence about whether it makes sense. Get down and do it. You will not regret it. In fact, like me, you'll be really glad you did.
