This hospital changed my life when I was 15 yrs old. Not only was my life saved physically following 2 operations whilst on holiday in Scotland. It is where I chose to become a nurse. That was 45 yrs ago. I just retired from a nursing career that I loved more than words.

Went to the minor injury unit yesterday. The girls at the reception desk were lovely, as was Marie who treated me. So appreciated everyone's humanity and kindness.

A range of health services here. A minor injuries clinic but no Accident and Emergency Department. I regularly attend several of the clinics. There is a limited amount of parking, including some disabled spaces, adjacent to the building entrance, but larger car parks are within the grounds of the hospital. Wheelchair accessible and plenty of accessible toilets throughout the building. There is a lift from the ground floor to the first floor. The premises are clean and well looked after. The members of staff in the departments I visit are friendly, helpful and professional.

After hurting my ankle paragliding at the Glencoe ski area, I called in at the clinic as my brother drove me south. I had already rung 111 and, although the doctor I spoke to was in the Highland area, she kindly rang Alexandria to tell them about me. The staff were friendly and efficient, and I was X-rayed, diagnosed, given a boot and crutches within 90 minutes. I know the NHS in Scotland, as in England, has big problems, but I was very impressed with my treatment.

Had a bad cut on my index finger left hand. Forgot to get the Male nurse name at the minor injuries unit he was very pleasant and helpful and great at cleaning my wound which required three stitches.

Had an endoscopy at the vale hospital and honestly the staff at the endoscopy clinic were so lovely and made everyone there feel at ease, don't think I'd of made it through it without their support and their fantastic energy. For someone who suffers from anxiety I wish every place I went to there were more people like them. Great team👏

Cut my hand.
Turned up and about 10 people in waiting room (probably for doctors side) I thought there would be a big wait.
Was sent to minor injuries but up the corridor. 1 minute later I was in getting cut cleaned out, 5 minutes later in for and Xray (cut on metal roof so maybe bits in it) 2 minutes later back in for stitches and in under an hour back out of the hospital and back to work.
Great service from everyone that helped.

Friendly reception lovely nurse cant remember name but Irish nurse does implant contraception very friendly.
