Great visit. My 2 children both enjoy themselves. £5 per adult, and if you keep your receipt you can return as many times for free for a year. Children admission free. Staff friendly and welcoming. There is a nice little traditional victorian play ground with wooden toys and props which my children enjoyed.

Loads of history and education opportunities. An award winning Cafe with great food. A unique historical childrens swing out in the yard. Look out for Mr Wilderspin. Opportunities for children to dress in historical cloths. Almost entirely run by volunteers. Love it. There are new things to see and new opening times. Thursday - Sunday 10 am - 4 pm. Last museum viewing 3 pm.
