BEWARE. Your joining will only line the management's pockets and rob you of your time, effort and other resources that would be better spent on anything else. The positivity and motivational atmosphere described by everyone here goes to your head at first, but it is TOXIC and UNHEALTHY long term.

Good luck to you if you fall for their lies, because having a boss, having to stick with your team and attend all their meetings does not mean you're self employed, not to mention you either attend them or can't work at all. It's just their way to monitor you and your "progress".

And lastly, beware of the director's "motivational" speeches - he doesn't need much food, comfortable shoes or sunscreen to survive walking outdoors all day, but I'm pretty sure you do! You also can't just tell yourself you're feeling "excited" when all you can think about is going to bed after having just spent the whole day on your feet.

If something bothers you, speak up. It's the only way things can change for the better! And if you're asked to bottle it up instead, run don't walk - these people don't have your best interest at heart. 🚩
