Despite being a busy and successful garage that's been trading for twenty years, we knew we had to continue marketing our services as the local market is competitive. We didn't have the time to do it ourselves and tried to recruit a marketing assistant, without much success!

We contacted Activate Business Development and met with Steve who wrote a detailed proposal including; corporate video production and updating our YouTube channel, setting up a CRM (HubSpot), purchasing a business database, sending a series of emails, advertising in the Business Times, distributing 30,000 leaflets, advertising on a local digital outdoor media billboard and setting up a web to mail system for our MOT reminders. Steve has managed the design, print and distribution of all campaign material. We have been able to track all activity and results generated which is great!

Steve is a very experienced marketing consultant with a range of marketing systems. He has helped us plan and implement several marketing campaigns that have helped raise our profile, generated sales and saved us time. We would recommend Steve and Activate Business Development without hesitation.

We needed to bring our marketing collateral up to date and did not have a marketing manager to take the project on. Steve from Activate Business Development was able to start immediately and work with us as a part time marketing consultant. Steve has gained a detailed understanding of our business needs and put in place the marketing we needed including; an editable website with content management and analytics, a CRM platform, six sided brochure and an advert in the local media. Steve has also been sending email campaigns and set up a direct mail system to contact our database. He used a telemarketing agent to follow up these mailings and book appointments for our sales team.

We would thoroughly recommend Steve as a retained marketing manager as he has the experience, knowledge and marketing systems needed to take our business forward.

Activate have provided Wellingborough BID and a number of our BID area businesses with excellent advice, training and support over the last three years. Steve is a very knowledgeable and experienced marketer with a specialism for Marketing Planning, CRM and Social Media.
