This shop is located at a very beautiful place. And has a nice range of branded items (White stuff, Brakeburn, Louis, ROKA London etc.,) and a great shopping ambiance. However the staffs here are very rude.
They kept following us, my friend and I thought it’s a coincidence but they kept having an eye on us - that made us feel very awkward.
There is a fudge counter and nobody was around. We kept looking for someone to help but there was a sign that said ‘please serve the fudges from behind the shelf’. It felt like a general instruction to the shoppers. And when we were about to open the shelf door from behind, a staff came rushing and yelling at us saying ‘you can’t do that by yourself. You should ask help’.
I apologised and pointed to the instructions on the shelf.
She said ‘yes, but it is an instruction for the staffs’.
I once again apologised but she still had a stern face.
As we continued to choose our chocolates, she continued reading out the prices loud, as the weight increased (the price is according to the weight) and maintained a tone like ‘are you sure you can afford £7!!’.
I felt very humiliated. But my friends child was very much excited for the fudges and I ended up buying them.
I was also going to buy a ROKA London handbag - which otherwise I found it difficult to choose a color and size from their site (ROKA London has a huge range of bags. And a great choice of colours. And each range has bags in small, medium and large sizes. So altogether I thought it’s better to see and buy. So within the same month, this is our second visit to this place and I thought I’ll grab my bag here. And specifically revisited this place).
But I felt very annoyed by their behaviour and didn’t buy that.
Such rude staffs they have.
Not going to visit this place ever again.

Very nice and helpful people work there. After spend time in many places in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 it is my favorite shop, really! You can find clothes and souvenirs and useful things for kitchen and home 🏠 I was looking for wool sweater made locally in wales or uk or Ireland 🇮🇪 I found made by Ireland and uk very nice quality !!!!

The shop has a great selection of clothes and gifts.

I purchased a bottle of Penderyn (icon no6) at a good and fair price.

I do feel the staff are a little on edge and would encourage them to be more welcoming. As the shop has an atmosphere you would get when being welcomed on a nightclub door 🫡

We came in to look around the shop and the two old ladies were extremely rude and condescending. One of the old ladies stared us down the entire time we were in even after we smiled and tried to be friendly, it was very uncomfortable and made us feel on edge. However the man who works upstairs was really nice and is the only reason i gave two stars. The stuff here is nice but a bit spenny.

I have been shopping here virtually since the shop first opened. I live in Saddleworth Oldham and travel several hours by car to shop there. I certainly would recommend the lovely shop. I have never had any problems with members of staff

My favourite store to shop in 😊 So many lovely things to choose from - I always come away with something I’m really pleased with and having had a lovely shopping experience. Combine with a visit to The Royal Oak next door for coffee or lunch 😊

Came here in the late afternoon, shortly before closing time. Besides lots of souvenirs, there is really a lot of interesting stuff here. Lots of good quality clothes as well. Didn't really have time to check it all out.

But bought some nice fridge magnets, keychains, caps and a bunch of T-Shirts. Everything of good quality.

Staff was very nice and the prices fair. Definintely a place we would spend more time in. Surely another time.

Lovely little shop, great selection of Welsh products. We bought a sheep foot stool and the lady kindly shipped it to us. Amazing service and definitely not one to miss.
