My wife and I bought a house in Haslemere in 2010, a perfectly charming period house with three small but adequate bedrooms but a small and unloved ground floor. We always had dreams of one day extending it.

Having searched around she found ArchitectureLIVE and was immediately excited by their projects and approach.

Jonathan patiently sat with us finding more about ourselves and our tastes and, over a couple of months, returned with some exciting ideas. As sometimes happens it took a number of years to be able to mobilise ourselves (both practically and financially) to finally be able to create the space. During that time Jonathan maintained contact and as the project approached its start date we were able to modify and revisit the designs.

It is hard to describe how much the resulting extension has changed our lives, indeed the word ‘extension’ doesn’t quite capture what we now live in. ArchitectureLIVE has created a totally unique space that reflects us as a family and provided a brand new living space.

It is testament to the design that it has been shortlisted for the Waverley Architectural Awards 2019 (announcement of the award is in March 2019).

We are incredibly proud of the extension and so very grateful to ArchitectureLIVE for what they have given to us as a family.
