Chris of Whistler studios is one of the finest restorers we have found, a good artistic eye for colour tone and style allows him to breathe new life onto old work, cleaning, repairing restoring and rejuvenating paintings (especially oils). Chris has done a wonderful job for me, cleaning and restoring a picture and its frame. It is an old small oil painting bequeathed to me some years ago, delightful but faded and a bit battered. Hung in a location which unfortunately caught the sun, the paint started to flake. Chris was very helpful explaining carefully exactly what ould be achieved. The colours are now more vibrant, the flaking completely gone, the frame secure and it is even more beautiful. It has been a pleasure to deal with hik.
