Esta tienda tiene una intensa y amplia variedad de productos. El personal es muy amable y útil. Such an intensive and wide variety of goods. The staff are very lovely and helpful. I needed a set of torx screwdriver, the staff at the hardware section has very kindly lend me a sample to try on my laptop, see if it works, and when I need another set after a while, they happily provide me a full return and advise me on a more multifunctional set.

On Google maps Barnitts is described as a Home and Garden store and as a Hardware store but it is so much more!
They seem to sell everything you could ever need for your home and garden plus a whole lot of things you never knew existed - it’s enormous!
Over the years we have bought all manner of things including a garlic press, a Swiss roll tin, bathroom accessories , light fittings and nails and screws…
It is very easy to get lost as sections branch off but there’s usually a member of staff not too far away.
I’m still not sure if I’ve explored every section.
Highly recommended!

Solid, old school hardware (and more!) shop. Staff in the DIY sections are particularly helpful in offering advice, answering questions, and generally providing great service. As long as I live in York I’ll be a customer of this place!

Excellent service in all departments, and, especially to a lady and Rupert who both work in the lighting department. They were both knowledgeable and very patient with me, guided me with my selection and ensured my delivery was done within a time frame. I have just installed my lights and they complement my house. Barnitts has wide of very high quality lighting which are unique. Double thumbs for service and product.

I initially thought this place tiny but upon further investigation, there's an entire gardening department inside as well. Loads of stuff ranging from kitchen wear and utensils to repair DIY. Got myself a tool box and staff were pretty helpful too.
