Requested to view a property that came to our attention on Rightmove. Spoke to Barringtons a couple of times. On the first occasion they said it was email enquiries only, seemingly put out by the phone call. I pointed out the listing did not say that, they then updated the listing to say email enquires only. In any case they said the property was not available to view and were not sure when it would be as the tenants were on holiday. Called again a week later to ask for an update and received a fairly curt response from the lady there stating that they had our details and they would contact us when they were arranging viewings. Basically please don’t call again, we will contact you.

Fast forward a few weeks and the listing showed as “Let Agreed” and no opportunity was given to view the property, no communication whatsoever was received from Barringtons.

It was a disappointing experience with them.
