Both our budget and timescale were really tight, but on talking through our thoughts with John, he responded in the most dynamic and creative way. John's creativity in design is fantastic. He has worked on projects spanning logo design and creative interpretation that have all exceeded our expectations and gained a lot of praise. His logo designs are fresh and original while being representative and sympathetic to the projects they are for. On interpretation, he has designed an entire suite of interpretive elements for a heritage trail that creatively told the stories required in a really engaging and different way. He's also working on new interpretive elements for us too, refreshing some now outdated panels with modern, uncluttered, imagery-led artwork that we're sure the public will love. I've been working with John and Collaborate for many years on the branding and design for the Walter Scott Prizes, a book prize and a creative writing competition. Collaborate have designed logos and branding for us, all the digital and print marketing materials, and they also design the little book of winning stories for publication.
