Perfect for our energetic 5 year old. We have only been members for a few months but looking forward to continuing attending the classes and gym. Coaches, trainers and staff are amazing, patient and encouraging! Gym is clean and safe, definitely recommended!

I've been a member of the club for around 2 years now. Walking into any kind of gym, let alone a martial arts gym, for the first time is intimidating but every member of staff and other fellow members put me at ease. It truly feels as if you're a member of a tight-knit club that encourages everyone to improve and grow. The gym caters to members of all ages, skillsets and goals. As someone who does not intend to compete I have never felt as if I have recieved less attention in the training sessions than those that do compete. For anyone who is interested in martial arts but hesitant to begin training, I strongly recommend coming to several sessions and trying it out. I did and was very soon attending every week and loving every bit of it!

I've been training here since the gym opened in 2009.
I have had to take a lot of time off over the years due to health and personal reasons, but I was always welcomed back as if no time had passed.
Can't recommend Combat Sports Academy enough, all levels and abilities from ages 5-95!
Lee, Mick, Craig, Sam, Jane, Andrea... (sorry if I've missed anyone) all will make you feel like CSA family!
Morning and evening classes 7 days a week. If you're thinking of trying out ANY combat sports then come on down, you'll be glad you did!

Messaged this gym asking if I could drop in for a session whilst visiting family over the holidays, got a prompt response saying yes no problem! Just had to fill in a few details etc and pay when I turned up!

I was really impressed with the facilities and the coaches! As a 55kg female blue belt it can be slightly intimidating going to a new gym but everyone from the reception staff to the coaches made me feel really comfortable and safe and everyone I trained with were really friendly and made me feel secure in rolling. For me this is what a bjj community should be.

I’ll defiantly be popping back in when I’m back again in the area. Thanks again to the team for a great training session 🙏

My Family have been members of CSA since the beginning. Myself and my two sons have trained bjj close to 14 years now. It has shaped our lives in not only teaching us martial arts but how to be better humans. I can not recommend the club enough. I believe as a parent that in this day and age every child should be encouraged to take up martial arts especially bjj. It gave my sons not just an ability to defend themselves but also filled them with confidence and self belief. Now as adults they are hard working successful men. This is partly due to CSA and bjj being part of their lives since they were 5 years old. What ever class you take at the gym be it bjj, mma, Muay Thai or boxing i can guarantee that you will feel welcome and will get amazing coaching from the staff. CSA is no longer a club to me it is home.

Our family has used Combat Sports Academy for over a decade, with our eldest son training there continuously since he was 6. He's now 16 and training in the adult classes and absolutely loves it, CSA has changed his life. Our youngest son has now started training, too, and thoroughly enjoys the kids classes. He is a shyer kid than our oldest but the warm welcome he was given by the club quickly helped him overcome his nerves.

CSA is a family-friendly gym and I cannot recommend it highly enough - if you are looking for martial arts classes for your kids, you cannot go wrong with Combat Sports Academy.

The adults classes are also excellent and are welcoming for any ability or experience level; I am old and unfit and not remotely athletic, but was always welcomed and supported in any class I took part in.

Been going for about 2-3 years now. Never felt so welcome, trainers are always willing to help me and the others out, best experience I’ve had training. Receptionists always really kind, especially Andrea always making conversation with the trainees making it feel so much more welcome always smiling definitely worth going!
