Although apprehensive about buying a new build house we came across a Davidsons development in Market Harborough and knew instantly it was not a 'run of the mill' new development.The houses looked well built with lots of attention being paid to small finishing details. We could also see that the design team had taken the trouble to reflect the architecture of many of the older buildings in the town centre. We both felt it was rather like driving into a newly built village.
The sales team (Michelle & Kelly) did a great job for us, on each of our visits to site, in answering all our questions about the various types of homes available, the plans for the development and questions about the local area. They both made a point of being at the house when the keys were handed over when we moved in. It was a nice touch and felt something like being welcomed home by family members!!
We found that the Davidsons' handover and post occupation processes are very efficent and very robust. The level of snags has been very low and very minor in the main to to be honest and those that were identified were documented and dealt with with no fuss, overseen by the site manager Brendan who himself has done a great job in overseeing snagging remedial work such as it was and making us feel welcome.
We have been in the house for 3 months now and we are very happy with it and very happy with Davidsons. We couldnt say more really.

I cant recommend Davidson's homes enough!

Myself and partner bought a 3 bedroom house on the Weddington development (Church fields). Every step of the process has been easy. The girls in the marketing suite, (Karen & Lucy) have been so helpful and made every step of our journey on buying our first house a pleasure.

We paid our initial deposit in February 2017 and completed on the 27th October 2017. We went externally for the bulk of our flooring, however the bathroom was tiled by Davidson's; which they did a great job of. We only upgraded a towel rail and cupboards as we were not 100% sold on the complimentary samples.

With regards to the finishing touches on the rest of the house, everything has been brilliant. Simple things such as the skirting boards and doors being a higher specification than any other house builders out there.

We had a few snags which have all been corrected and sorted. The site manager Ross has been on top of everything we mentioned and has made sure everything we highlighted that we were not 100% happy with was amended so that we were.

I have heard some horror stories about new build developments, but I can honestly say that the buying and moving in process with Davidson's could not have been any easier. Really, really cannot thank the team enough.

Davidsons Team were amazing and helped us with a Part Exchange (through Home Move) to move in record time from Reservation to Completion with One Month and One Day, Lydia & Georgia and the wider team at Wellington Place have been brilliant from start to finish.

I recently bought a house at the Little Bowden development. I have nothing but praise for Davidsons. I've bought a new house before with a different developer and can honestly say Davidsons blow them out of the water. The level of contact and care you receive from Davidsons has left me with nothing but praise. Michelle and Kelly in the Sales Office have been fantastic and continue to be so even now. Barry, the site manager, cannot do enough to help you. Their post-sales team are also great. Not that I'm planning to move for a very long time, but I would not hesitate to use Davidsons again and highly recommend anybody to buy from them!

VERY BAD SERVICE. Actually that is an understatement we have had had no response at all from Davidsons concerning issues. After 2 months of emails from us (the owners of two Davidsons properties), our letting agent and our tenants, Davidsons have not responded to issues that include the sink waste falling off, the oven corroding so badly the shelve has no support, the dishwasher door has fallen off and now we have a tenant left without heating. After having been told they (Davidsons) cannot respond to phone calls and that we should send email the tenant was finally told to bleed the heating system and check the boiler pressure. Fortunately our tenant can do this. Unfortunately it has not worked and Davidson have now decided not to respond to either emails or phone calls. I expected more, the sales side of the business is first class but once they have your money you are alone and guarantees are not worth the paper they are written on. I hope the directors read these reviews and take action.

Updated - Feb 2021 - Still more problems with both properties, two showers leaking, needed to replace one cooker hood, internal door handles falling off in both properties. Out of guarantee now so strictly not Davidson responsibility but I expected better.

Updated - June 2021 Today we replaced the dishwasher in one property. In the same property the top microwave oven is no longer functional and the only option is is to replace both ovens (expensive) as it's double unit. I've not done this but will change the configuration when we have a change of tenant. Thanks Davidsons.....

Bought our lovely house at Alexandra Place in Nottingham. Louise was super helpful throughout. No pushy sales, Louise was very professional but friendly too. The site team couldn't do enough for you, few minor snagging issues after moving in but these were dealt with promptly and the site team were very obliging. Cannot thank Louise enough for her patience and this also extends to the site team. Love our new home. Well done Davidsons and thanks Louise, you are an absolute diamond!

We purchased a Davidsons home in the Tamworth development and was impressed from start to finish. From viewing the property, to the team keeping in touch with updates, regular visits, to finally getting the keys, it has been a very smooth and enjoyable process. The build of the house is of excellent quality and exactly what we wanted. The aftercare has been great too, we had some minor snagging details that have been resolved within the first month of living here and appreciated the lovely finishing touches in the house. Special thanks to Paula, Suzanne and Sharon, we had a few changes in Sales Managers during our purchase of the property, but were kept in the loop at all times and Sharon has gone out of her way to check in and make sure we were settling in - such a nice team!

What a pleasure it was to purchase our new house on the Lower Bardon Estate. I can truly say that nothing has been to much trouble for the sales team (Amber) and also the on site team.
Would highly recommend.
