It’ll be extremely difficult to find a surgery worse than this. I’ve been on hold waiting to simply change an appointment date for almost 2 hours now. I get put in for check up appointments which I simply cannot attend because I’m working. If I ask if I can reschedule, I’m told it’s either attend or do not turn up. If I do not turn up, I then get a phone call where the receptionist who thinks is a doctor complains that I did not turn up despite it being them who told me I cannot reschedule.

Doctors overall here are friendly other than one doctor who thinks he knows it all. If you come in and speak to him, he’s very dismissive and rude. He treats me like a child and will dismiss me even though I’m a grown adult. If my mum comes in, he’ll speak to my father instead despite my mum being the patient and being able to speak English. He’s messed up 2 blood tests on me where he’s forgotten to add the bottle in so blood just goes all over my arm and leg to which he’ll then laugh because he knows he’s messed up.

The receptionist is a whole new story. Extremely rude and should honestly leave if she hasn’t. Anyone who reads this will know exactly who I’m on about. She’s dismissive and treats patients like they’re illiterate fools. She is always disrespectful until she looks at my name and realises who I am because she knows we will complain about her.

The new receptionists who have joined within the last 2 years are actually quite friendly and helpful. They don’t treat me like a child and are rather friendly people.

Usual annual review today but as usual Dr S never fails to impress me. Cant help overhearing how receptionists are so calm and collected in dealing with pts albeit with language barriers. They are never ushered away. Dr S - again spending more than the usual booking time which i always feel guilty about as i know we all have homes to go to! His straight-to-the-point nature is what i love about him. His extensive breadth of clinical knowledge in cardiovascular disease is truly impressive and so up to date with disease preventative meds. With my full M.O.T done for the year - I've still yet to impress him with my aims in my long term condition- although i know deep down he's happy to see my efforts! Granville - your team are always kind and compassionate - I thank you all!

The never pick up any calls even though they are always on the reception talking.. Due to my condition I can’t always go out but because they never pick up any calls I have to always go book appointments in person. It’s ridiculous might aswell shut the line completely.

Always impressed with the surgery and staff. Today Monday morning 27.1.25. The receptionist at 8am thoroughly polite , helpful and reassuring. Had a booking with the duty doctor.GP spent an awful amount of time and gave me constant reassurance. Im always impressed by their actions. As an nhs worker, I can relate to the increased workload these healthcare professionals have to face. Thank you Grandville Medical from start to finish!

Called to booked an appointment been on hold for 1h and 30 min, started at caller number 13, now caller now number 4.... this is ridiculous .... the only reason i am still registered here is that all the doctors here are fantastic and have no complaints there. Something needs to change here.

Absolutely hate this surgery. Dr Singh makes you feel like you’re ill and it’s your fault. Any answer you give to his questions are never valid enough, he always comes back to shifting blame on the patient. Very dismissive, prefers to talk to my husband over me which I find very offensive, it’s not like I don’t speak English. The older receptionist thinks she’s running the surgery, Ill mannered, doesn’t know how to talk to patients. Dr Balloch on the hand really knows how to listen to his patients , Attentive and responds well to his patients.

Worst surgery ever i saw, no body is picking phone. Not only one timd i tested them three times. Although staff is doing nothing when i visited personally with my ringing phone. .overcrowded... i suggest we need to report Cqc and Nhs. They are enjoying taxpayer money.

A quaint & efficient practice. Over the years I’ve lived here, I’ve found both the clinical & admin staff are friendly & helpful; many thanks to Dr Nair for treating me & my family with great care. 💙 They’ve always managed to help me out whenever I need something, so no complaints there. The practice itself is very conveniently located, it even has free parking out front (for 1hr).

The only thing that’s an issue is their phone lines, the waiting times are insane (T^T) I always wait for over an hour before giving up & walking to the practice when I’m free. I’m guessing that’s cos they have so much to do & not enough staff, so yeah be warned: don’t call them.
