It's their way or no way. Only care about installing a solution and then not supporting the end user if it means they have to go the extra mile to do so. A very old fashioned way of supporting IT where the support is king and the end user means very little if they don't fit the Dyfed IT mold and how they want things to be setup. Really sad as they do know their stuff but charge a bomb for unnecessary and complicated kit which is overkill. Response times are slow too and replies can be patronising and unhelpful. I work in IT and would have resolved an IT issue a lot quicker if it had been a standard secure setup but I've had to change everything to suit the against how I and the customer want. Given two stars... just...

Update: I was going to update this review as they have been helpful but the issue originally reported has recurred at least twice since despite reassurances that that everything would work as it should. I also am extremely concerned that they appear to remove negative comments and today they have phoned my employer to threaten me as a result of my initial review. I work remotely so once they knew they couldn't talk to me directly they unleashed a serious of threats. I really always thought that if something is wrong in business you try to fix it and not just bully people into submission. I now stand by my original review and when their 'fix' fails for the 6th time (I think it's 6 times now; I've lost count) I suspect they'll just ignore me again even though it does look like maybe they don't know the kit they are selling and this is the reason for this review.

I'm still waiting for a reply to the email I sent to info@ several months ago as requested on the reply to my review...

Note - there is no conflict of interests with IT firm I work for; we support IT in schools and indeed I was initially very interested in what they had to offer as part of a private and personal project I'm working on and could have put a huge amount of work their way and I even asked for information which I never heard back on but they appear to be so rotten as a company with chasing poor reviews that they miss good opportunities too.

Unless you want very basic IT support or just very basic faster connectivity then please avoid - you will ultimately thank me for it.

Messy install. Access point very low and aimed at a wall/fottpath. Fobbed me off when I complained. When I complained about being fobbed off, the Director said he'd come round and resolve the issue. Unfortunately, what actually happen was he failed to turn up. He has now disappeared and not got back to me. I have asked for the router settings, something ISOs routinely give out, but that simple request has also been ignored.

Everyone at Dyfed IT is so helpful, efficient and friendly.
If you phone with an issue a real human answers the phone, takes the details and the engineering team are on the case within hours.
No sitting in queues on the phone pressing "1 for this, 2 for that" etc, and none of the silly "unplug it and plug it in again".
Definitely recommend.

We had a village meeting a while back about this company providing service to our area. The people who took up the offering are not getting the speeds promised and as a community we are looking to implement a full fiber alternative.
