I am very disappointed with Engage Web. When I first signed up, Ryan was extremely attentive, making me feel confident that I was making the right decision. As a small business owner, the option to pay in monthly installments over two years, rather than a large upfront cost of £2,500-£3,000, was a significant factor in my decision. I was under the clear impression that at the end of this term, I would fully own the website. At no point was I informed that this was a **lease agreement** and that I would need to continue paying to retain access to the website.

Since raising my concerns, I have discovered that I am not the only business owner who has experienced this issue, which I find deeply concerning. Transparency in business agreements is crucial, and had this been made clear to me from the outset, I would not have proceeded.

Beyond this, the service I received was below the standard I expected. Despite providing **everything** required for the website—including photos, templates, brand colors, font choices, wording, calls-to-action (CTAs), and examples—Engage Web still made numerous errors. I have documented 19 instances of mistakes, including incorrect wording, copy-paste errors, duplicate content, missing CTAs, and even a **non-functioning contact form**. Each time I raised these issues, they were met with polite apologies, primarily from Emily, who handled concerns professionally, but unfortunately, the level of service never really improved.

The most frustrating aspect is that despite all these shortcomings, I am now being asked to pay a **large fee to retain the website—one that I essentially designed myself.** Given the scale of Engage Web and their team, I expected a far more professional experience.

I would **not recommend** Engage Web, particularly given that I now know of **at least two other small business owners who have experienced the same misleading sales tactics.** I strongly urge others to ensure they fully understand the terms before committing to any agreement with this company.

We've just had a website created by Engage Web for our networking group, Referral team. We really don't fit the brief of an Engage client because our budget was measly. We agreed to a minimal package with them and expected to receive a very scaled back service as a result. But it never felt like that, and we're really pleased with the final site.
