I decided to try these guys because i have spent far too much money being told the same things by the best garages for my car. Most garages nowadays seem to only be able to respond to scan readers and they do not seem to be able to think for themselves.
The mechanics at Goodsirs seem to actually know what they are doing as well as having the latest equipment. Prices are fair and i have just had a full service, oil and filters changed along with the brakes bled and the suspension fixed for just over £320.
I know a big name national garage and retail store that would only have done the service for the same money and you can't be certain that they actually replace all of the service parts that you pay for (i will say no more on that..).
If you want old school mechanics that can also fix modern electrics, i would happily recommend trying these guys.

Helpful and informative, got us in in good time, and did the work in a lot less time than I expected. I did get the feeling they might have tried to fit us in sooner had we needed it too which was good. Haven't had a lorry serviced/mot'd before so a learning curve for me, my only niggle was I thought it would be service at the same time, we had discussed it on the phone before hand. When they rang on completion they said nothing needed doing which was great, when I collected the service light came back on, I rang back and they explained the filters etc needed changing to reset the service light. Not a huge problem, but would have preferred for it to be done whilst it was there - I'll know for future and I'm pleased they didn't do loads of work without being asked to which resulted in a big bill 🤷.

Just had my mot and full service on my volvo v70, very pleased with the work done on my car, the staff were polite and very helpful they even drove me back home and picked up again as I can't walk far as I'm waiting for hip replacement.
The work was professionally performed with no problems and very competively priced, shall definitely use from now on.
It's a shame that they have no signage on the main road so passing potential customers would know they're there.
