Overall, pretty good. Easy ordering process, customer services responded with 24 hours to a query about the order. Despatched within a fortnight and received 3 days later. Product itself (glass slab photo) was better quality than expected, clear image and weighty product so stands well. Well packaged too.
Prices are a little steep, however, I wanted the image for my daughter and the price is the price. Hence a 4 not 5.

Expensive (but aren't all school photos unfortunately) but whoever the photographer was managed to get natural smiles from both of my children so for the first time I have purchased. Child in year 5 - never a decent photo prior to this!

3rd year - not much has changed. My daughter said she was told to smile by the photographer, when she didn't want to! My sons hair was all over the place having a huge gap in middle of his "fringe". Let me guess, you want some extra ££ for editing?

Pictures are so Unnatural, robotic! Can tell that photographer hates their job!

To top the above there is a background problem, a corner is cut off in a photo!

OVERPRICED, Bad, bad photos!

Second year in a row disappointed with photos. Half arm cut off,photos are not centered. One of the photos are diagonal! Give me white backdrop, I'll take better photos!

For the last 4 years JS photography has photographed my child at school. I’ve not bought a single picture because they are so appallingly bad. It’s really sad. Literally the worst photos I’ve ever seen.

How can a company charge more than £10 for a digital photo download of children at school? £111 for 12 digital downloads? It’s an absolute disgrace and you should be ashamed of yourself! Heavily profiting off parents who just want to have some better pictures of their kids….the photos aren’t even that good! I’ll be working with the school to ensure they employ another company for future photography.

Grossly overpriced - £27 for two image downloads. Scandalous really. Always dread the annual school photos, don't even think it's worth it nowadays with the phones available (even cheap smartphones have decent cameras!) Will save money and not buy next time - prices just extortionate and unjustifiable. If you're considering - don't bother.

Photos are too staged. The sibling shots have my two children hugging each other in the most unnatural way. I laughed on and off for a good hour after first seeing the proofs. Have never been keen on the sibling or individual shots and the latest class photo was just awful. Not a true image at all as the kids were broken in to smaller groups, again with ridiculously unnatural poses, and then those group images were mashed together as if taken as a whole class. Awful. Previous class photos were actually lovely, taken of the children and teachers nicely sat outside together, as opposed to casually leaning against each other as if they are all best friends. I'm surprised to have never heard about anyone having neck pain given the amount of exaggerated, sassy head tilting they're told to do!
Terribly expensive. I currently have 9 different images available to order from a recent shoot. An option to have a mix of images as a package would be welcome. Who really wants, for example, package A, which is 12 of the same image?!

2 stars are based on prompt service, previous style of class photo and the laughs some of the images can provide, despite the comic value being unintended I'm sure!
