Oh boy! Where do I even start. What an incredible experience it was. Absolute top notch hospitality from the Leblanq team. From the moment I was picked up at the airport to the very last moments of the trip, everything went smoothly without any issues. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start my Leblanq journey than with a trip to Norway. Despite unpredictable weather, the breathtaking views, fantastic hotels, fabulous food, and wonderful group of like minded people all have made the whole adventure unforgettable. And I’ve not even mentioned what it was like riding side by side with a pro and learning the journeys of the incredible cycling legends. Without a doubt, one of my best holidays, ever.

My husband and I just completed our third trip with LeBlanq (2 in Norway, 1 in Rioja), and I can say that their trips just keep getting better. Kudos to the entire LeBlanq team, and especially to my "Red Group" guides Daisy, Sam, Christopher and Tim. The cycling routes, the hospitality, and the food were all amazing, as was getting to meet and ride with Norwegian legend Edvald Boasson Haugen, one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Now if only they could control the weather... just kidding! We were prepared for "Norwegian weather," but having support cars nearby meant that we were never far from being able to add or shed layers or enjoy a hot cup of coffee. The staff and guides were super supportive and encouraging to each and every rider, regardless of one's cycling ability. If I could change one thing it would be to have sandwiches or similar lunch bites available in the support cars in addition to the plentiful sweet snacks and gels, especially on the longer rides. (That could be as simple as suggesting that riders prepare their own "mattpaks" at the hotel breakfast buffet, as I noticed a few riders did.) Other than that, all I can say is that I wish we didn't live so far away, or else we'd be able to join more of the LeBlanq adventures.

For me LeBlanq have struck it perfectly with a passion for food and drink with cycling, more so with the ā€˜cycling greats’ alongside wellness and relaxation. This is what made us book a trip.

I don't often cycle with clubs, some seem testosterone fuelled and more interested in what bike and power you have and trying to kill you on the climbs than inclusion and comradery.

Before the event LeBanq send out a questionnaire as to what cycling you do regularly. I live in the Yorkshire Dales so I'm not afraid of distance, height or time in the saddle ..but all this can vary depending on how fast you're going and if you ride in a peloton.

As time got closer I began thinking I haven't cycled enough, wasn't fit enough, my bike wouldn't hold up and I was going to be the one at the back holding everyone up. I convinced myself I had joined a training camp with pros!!

What I was faced with was a relaxed, no pressure holiday, there were no egos, all the pressure was internal and everyone was so relaxed it was comforting. I think the small groups and fluidity to change group encouraged this although stick to where you see yourself and I think it will be perfect.

There were a couple of good sized climbs in the route with a coffee/water top-up stop. You got back knowing you'd had a good workout. Lunch was waiting, then plenty of time to get ready for rolling transfers to dinner at the same venue where the party was held. Everything was timed impeccably, nothing was rushed but there isn't much time for anything else. That said transfers were rolling so you could take part in as much or as little as you like.

My wife, having not cycled this year opted for the wellness side. Having never really done yoga and meditation or concentrated on breathwork felt apprehensive but fully engaged, I think this was the case for a few.
She has taken a tremendous amount away from the weekend. The yoga and meditation seems to have springboarded and is wanting me to join in the breathwork.

The locations are amazing, the pros are relaxed and there to have fun, the guide leaders have a fantastic knowledge of the area making aware of hazardous bends and bumps. The food was fantastic and who'd of bloody known a load of old cyclists can party like the best of them.

If Carlsberg did weekends, it would be this one. An unforgettable time in Perthshire filled with incredible riding, dining, people, a perfect stay, and an outstanding team.

1. Riding – Three stunning rides, perfectly suited to the weekend’s weather. With Ollie and Laura leading, we couldn’t have asked for better. Their communication was spot on, keeping us safe and fast in the back group.

2. Dining – Michelin Star Chef Laura McNee on Saturday and Sunday, with Hayden on Friday. The food was exceptional, and the wine pairings were perfect.

3. People – It’s never easy managing so many people on a luxury weekend, but everyone was incredible.

4. Stay – The hotel was perfect—secluded, with amazing staff.

5. The Team – Huge shoutout to Sam and Sophie. We couldn’t have met a nicer couple who made us feel so welcome. The entire Le Blanq team went above and beyond.

Thank you! I’m sure we’ll be back soon.

Spent an absolutely incredible weekend in Ibiza riding and partying with legends within the cycling world. Was extremely well looked after from start to finish - food, drink and overall hospitality was exceptional down to the fine details. The LeBlanq team are fantastic and what make the experience what it is, both on and off the bike. Memories and friends for life were made. Would definitely recommend and go back in a heartbeat!

Stuff of cycling dreams!

Imagine a cycle trip where you don’t have to THINK, route plan, find a water fountains, the nearest restaurant, or take out your credit card.…Where you wake up to the sound of waves, beach yoga to the sunrise, and can have as much barista coffee as you like over a wholesome fuelling breakfast…Where you have your own mechanic deliver your bike, pristine, in the morning, and there to take care of it upon your return…Your own professional ride leader taking you on the most beautiful scenic, tranquil and sometimes challenging tarmac Ibiza has to offer...A sweep and nutrition team at hand for all your needs along the route…Customised kit and daily laundry service, cold beer, champagne, and sunshine on tap….and did I mention the FOOD! Michelin star, coupled with the White Isle’s best restaurant experiences and locations. All this whilst hanging out with your all-time cycle idol (mines Geraint Thomas, Cymru! Woo) and a load of other awesome cycle enthusiasts, from all over the globe, just there for the love of cycling and chill…Then Pete Tong turns on the beat…INSANE!

Honestly the best thing I’ve done all year. The attention to detail and customisation was world class. We needed for nothing and I’m still on cloud 9, two weeks on. Can’t recommend this luxury cycling adventure enough!

One of the best biking experiences I have ever had. The routes, the group leaders, the support, the hotels, the food, the wine, the saunas and cold plunges on the fjords were all spectacular. Most of all, it was great fun riding and meeting a great group of people from all over the world.

Words aren’t going to do this justice, so there’s some photos to help! From start to finish, the best trip I’ve ever been on. From the food, to the cycling, to the staff and the guests, everyone and everything was well thought of and catered exactly to what a trip like this should be… a no expenses spared, gastro cycling extravaganza on what must be some of the best roads in the world. The level of detail impressed me from start to finish. A special mention to all the Le blanq guys I rode with (and dragged me up hills)…. And When Sean Yates is your support car driver , and Thor Hushvold and Nico Roche are leading you up a hill as a cycling fan you pinch yourself. Incredible!
