Several times upon visits to buy things (cash), there has been a gentleman with a terrible attitude, never smiles and is very arrogant. Doesn't try to help and acts like he doesn't know his job. Recently, we made a few purchases, same each time, attitude from this guy but the worst was when we wanted a TV with sound bar bundle - they didn't have the sound bar in stock and said we couldn't pay there and then as they didn't have it but, we could go another day when they've ordered it in and pay for it then. We ordered a Amazon fire stick and my friend went in to collect it and pay for the sound bar etc. A lady was serving him when 'the gentleman' walked over shouting "he's barred, don't serve him!!"..he lied and said my friend and I had both been abusive and swearing when last in shop (which was not true at all, or they'd have called police surely?) Making things up and also doing Argos out of another sale. Between us, we've both spent a fortune at this shop in particular and this guy has just stopped that completely - saying we are also barred from Sainsburys?! Like, apart from doing nothing to be "barred" from the Argos part of the shop..what on earth did we do to be "barred" from the Sainsburys shop and who is he to make that decision?!
We have already started to look into this further.

Simply the worst customer service. Just a didn't seem to care and really couldn't be bothered. When i walked off they were laughing behind my back made me feel like i didn't want to come back. Did talk to the store manager and they were understanding. I was polite and just wanted to sort something out, they treated me like i was being disingenuous when I wanted a retun. Very little positive communication. They just couldnt give a monkeys.

Absolutely shocking place to shop. Went to buy a £50 Next Gift card with my Nectar points. Took the points but the transaction wouldn't complete and Kirsty couldn't put the points back on my Nectar card so I had to take Argos Gift card. Not exactly the same !!!! . Completely unacceptable and will never be back . Training needs to be given to staff

Has anyone tried to phone an Argos shop, and got a human? We tried, and the answer service keeps saying our operatives are busy at the moment, please try later, then it hangs up on you. They are a nightmare. If you don't have an email address, it's impossible to order by phone, and pay over the phone. They must be losing millions.

Located just inside the entrance of Sainsbury’s, on the right hand side. Moved here, with the larger shop in the retail park opposite closed down. Bright and modern store.
