Just had a track back for Sam. Wow. Me and the band are working on some new material and thought we’d test the mastering waters by sending Sam a single track. Sam knocked it out the park. It was clear and controlled but retained all the dynamic content from the mix. Sam’s master was so three-dimensional, it flew out of my studio monitors. Safe to say we’ll be using him for the rest of the project. Sheffield has a top class mastering engineer!

Absolutely excellent service. Sam took our band’s disparate bunch of mixes from various studio sessions across various epochs and made them sound like a record. This, surely, has to be the highest accolade for any mastering engineer. The mixes now sound punchy, detailed, coherent and completely excellent. Also of particular note is his attention to detail regarding file management - always 100% organised which, for a multi-album project, is absolutely crucial. The turnaround time was quick, too. Sam is the musicians’ mastering engineer - his deep understanding of a huge range of genres, coupled with some great gear and, most of all, an insanely effective set of ears all adds up to a fantastic experience from start to finish. Cannot recommend this guy enough.
