We've been meaning to come to Morley Hayes for a while now for something to eat. I was a bit reserved due to hearing that it was expensive. Obviously, it's mainly a golf club, but it also has a hotel and two places to eat; The Dovecote restaurant and Roosters Bar. The Dovecote restaurant is definitely the pricier of the two (from reading the menu), so we went to Roosters Bar. Although it says it's a "bar", it definitely didn't fit that description for me, as it seemed very much like a normal restaurant. There is plenty of parking and due to the time of year, they had already started to put the Christmas decorations up, inside and out, which made it very welcoming and cosy. It was quite busy when we went, so there was a nice atmosphere, but not too noisy. The staff were very attentive and food was served quite quickly. We also like the fact that we weren't bothered again with the usual "are you enjoying your meal", once we were eating! The food was superb. I had Lamb Shank and my partner had Hunters Chicken. In the grand scheme of things, the prices weren't bad either. The Lamb Shank was £19.95 and the Hunters Chicken was £17.95. only a few pounds more than you'd pay at a chain restaurant, like Frankie and Benny's. So overall, a very good first experience and we will definitely be going back again.

This was our annual Christmas meal out at Roosters bar we go every year and it’s always very nice , December 4th very busy but the staff were very attentive and friendly. There were 7 of us I ordered the Christmas dinner I was the only one that had this meal , I was so disappointed ☹️ the turkey was very dry ! The stuffing was that hard I could not cut it ! The roast potatoes were hard the only good thing was the veg ! This is the first time I have had a bad meal here , yes I should of complained there and then but I never as I did not want to spoil the night for my friends , it was like the dinner was a day old and been warmed up in the microwave 🙄 very disappointing 😞

We popped into here to meet some friends who regularly play golf at this venue. We were pleasantly surprised with the stunning views from the upstairs cafe. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing a good service. Tables were available when we arrived, but they soon filled up. In warmer months, there's a splendid outside terraced area. We had drinks and a range of menu choices, including scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, a full English breakfast and panninis. All the food was excellent, and the portions were sizeable. Ensure that you are hungry before visiting! We paid £30 for 2 people. The bathrooms are clean and tidy, and there's plenty of parking on site. I don't think dogs are permitted. If you wish to use the other restaurant on site, then you will need to pre-book a table as it's incredibly popular. It was a brilliant place to visit.

Had lunch at Roosters to celebrate daughter's day 2022. It was an amazing experience overall.

The menu is varied and there are the pub classics as well as Morley Hayes specials. The prices are understandable given the standard of the restaurant and the food itself. There are plenty vegan, GFO and vegetarian options available. The drinks and desserts are also available in ample quantity.

There's plenty of seating space indoors and outdoors and a lovely view of the golf course from the floor to ceiling windows. The ambiance of the bar is no less than that of a £££ fine dining restaurant. And of course there’s plenty of parking spaces.

The food was delicious beyond expectations. We ordered Morley Hayes special, vegan burger, Korean Style fried chicken burger and chicken kebabs for the mains and it was (lip-smackingly) delicious. The serving size is great (much more than the standard expensive restaurants). We also ordered garlic bread to go with our drinks - orange marmalade G&T, beer, lemonade and coke - which was like any homemade garlic bread. The real deal was the dessert - sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream. It is our family’s tradition to order this particular dessert at every restaurant. The STP at Roosters was simply a beauty - in our top 3 list.

The staff is professional, kind, and welcoming. We requested our mains to be served 1/2 hour after our drinks and they made that happen.

Therefore, it was a great experience and we left with happy faces and tummies!! Definitely recommend if you want to treat yourselves.

Lets start positive. The decorations are incredible and get better with each year. No where is better for the Christmas atmosphere.
However something has changed at MHs. Im a regular customer and small changes are creeping in, It used to be so consistent with the portions, service and quality. The food isnt hot enough, some of the younger servers are not up to it. They have to learn and maybe just temp staff. However i have to say Luke is always brilliant. Come on Morely, you are better than this...
