They seem like they know what they’re doing when it comes to consistent posts, but from my experience with them, they are lacking in most other aspects. I articulated before signing up with them that I needed some support in terms of advice with social media engagement going forward. Unfortunately in hindsight, they didn’t seem to take anything I asked on board. I asked on a few occasions for communications about what was going on in terms of planning, but was often ignored and not met with any such correspondence. I was abundantly clear from the start that I had a limited budget to help kick start my business. Half way through the budgeted period, I was advised that I was ‘probably on the wrong package’, and that the package I had been initially placed on wasn’t suitable for my goals. I wish that So Social Media had listened more from the start - perhaps then I wouldn’t feel as though my money had been wasted.
I think there’s a good chance that their social media skills are proficient, however I am convinced that their customer engagement and listening/understanding of their clients needs are lacklustre and in need of improvement.
