Very nice cafe , friendly staff, fast service even at lunchtime. Coffee and burger was really tasty , I'd recommend this place. The cakes looked great but the burger and fries was a really good portion so I wouldn't have been able to fit it in. I'll definitely be back

We arrived on a busy Friday lunchtime and a queue was forming for tables. However, staff were polite and efficient, doing their best to accommodate people. We were offered a side window bench which we took and a waitress came to tell us their specials. Lucky us, we landed on a newly introduced Fish Friday and whilst we pondered our choices, a "proper" table came free and we were waved over. We placed an order of fish and chips each and also requested if we could takeaway a pulled pork panini for our son. A very reasonable reduction in price was offered for this. After a slight but expected wait for how busy it was, our food arrived and it was all freshly cooked, delicious and plentiful. The panini was brought over towards the end of us eating and stayed hot for us to take home. Will definitely be back, and hope fish Friday continues

I’ve been eating breakfast for 45 years and this is the best breakfast I have ever had. The Barn House breakfast was a whirl wind. Great value and magnificent taste. I’ll be coming back again and again.

A welcoming venue with highly attentive staff. There is plenty of seating throughout, although some are comfier than others. The tables for two seemed barely able to hold a plate and mug for each two guests and the chairs were also flimsy. A sides that, the alternative larger tables were much sturdier.
Main course food was delicious, well presented and fresh. Cakes were somewhat of a disappointment as they looked amazing, but sadly, the taste and quality did not match. My chocolate muffin, priced at £3.95 was neither natural nor unpleasant; tasting of commercially prepared cake mix with no chocolate flavours asides the chocolate button decorations. My partner's millionaire's shortbread also priced at £3.95, lacked a home-made flavour despite the price suggesting it would be a buttery and toffee-topped treat.
I would still enjoy a return visit, but would forfit the confectionary.
Our coffees were very tasty, hot and served with a Biscoff. It's Definitely worth a visit just for a quick coffee.

Only had a coffee here, but the food looked amazing, and it was very busy (even on a Thursday in September) with people eating. Lovely, friendly staff. Nice surroundings, horses out the back. Will defo go back again.

A well known cafe in the area which caters for all.
Today we had the Winter veg soup, the best we’ve had anywhere. Served hot with croutons. This was accompanied by cheese and onion toasty.
We followed up with delicious mince meat and apple tart with ice cream.
Another excellent experience at this local popular venue.

Excellent, we had our lunch there today. Coffee and a sandwich first rate. Staff are helpful and very pleasant . Nice atmosphere and a lovely location. Today, 5th September, visited Stable View with 2 of our granddaughters and had a lovely time. Great Milkshakes and coffee.

I absolutely love it here. It's always busy but I've never had a bad experience. All the staff are polite and professional and on my last visit especially. I always go there with my son who is 4 and is autistic and I always have to take a packed lunch for him as he eats the same food every day and is extremely fussy. It's always quite nerve-wracking having to do this as you don't know how it will be received by the establishment but they have never mentioned anything to me about this and so it's somewhere I feel comfortable going to with my son. Another thing he struggles with is noise and where it can get quite loud during busy times like on our recent visit, I asked to move to a table in the other section of the building and they were more than accommodating with this. It's always a worry when you try and go out with a small child that might not always 'behave' how society would expect, but more so with an autistic child. But here we have never been made to feel anything more than welcome and looked after.
Food is always great and the coffee is lovely.
We will return again and again. Thank you.
