I've got nothing but good things to say about Studio 24. Simon Jones ran a free workshop for other digital design agencies in my network to bring them up to date with accessibility tools that they can use with their clients and it was so helpful. There aren't many agencies that see collaboration as a more powerful tool than competition and it's refreshing to see a successful company actively working on ways to support other local organisations.
Their dedication to help others to build a more accessible, sustainable web is a fitting tribute to the work of Tim Berners-Lee and the work that Studio 24 did on the redesign of The World Wide Web Consortium - one of the longest running websites in the world - is testament to that.
Not only do they do great work, they're lovely people!

BEWARE. I'm a digital marketing consultant; in 13 years in the industry I've never seen an agency treat a former client so callously or carelessly.

We have a common client; a client I am currently working with, and one they used to work with.

That client had a Google Tag Manager container, which I overhauled recently.

Studio 24 Ltd still had access to this container, and so chose to DELETE IT WITHOUT WARNING. This caused my client to lose analytics data. If it had not been spotted in time, my client would also have lost hours of work that they'd paid for from me.

This is just a stunningly careless thing to do to a former client, and Studio 24's justification was that they were no longer being paid.

So it was apparently ok to completely trash their former client's analytics set up without warning or cause.

Studio 24 have been completely unable to say:
- Why they did not simply leave the account rather than delete it
- Why they did not notify other account owners before deleting it
- Why they did not check to see if the container was still used before deleting it.
- Why they have absolutely no empathy or understanding for why it is bad to hobble another organization's digital presence, and trash the work of another professional

In their inevitable response to this review, please look closely to see if they answer the above directly. They won't.

None of the above is what "digital experts" do.

It is an unusual thing in this industry for one agency or professional to publicly criticize another, but I'm doing it here so people are aware of just how bizarre Studio 24 Ltd can be, and what potential danger they pose once your contract with them expires.
