An unprofessional post office staff member claims to be the store manager. I tried to buy some euros, and they asked for my ID, which I understand is not a problem. However, they also asked for the last four digits of my bank details. That I understand is well

When they started asking to hold my documents and write down full information from my cards and passport because their computer wasn’t working, that felt like fraud. I shouldn’t have to give them my passport or bank card, especially when the computer isn’t even functioning. I don’t trust someone who doesn’t seem to know what they’re doing with my personal bank details.

Management needs to look into this and ensure staff are fully trained and aware of customer service standards.

I've been there several times as I live close, one of staff members is so rude that you canaways get shocked by his actions. Yelling at customers, not providing requird details and prices, having inappropriate and unprofessional manner while working are just a few examples of what you might face. Spending a bit more time and seeing other post offices could be the best option I suppose, it has worked for me at least.

This post office is located in the News Point newsagent upstairs in the Lowry Mall.
As expected it has a post weight machine and sells stamps for postage as well as a variety of sweets, chilled drinks, stationery, magazines and newspapers.

ALI WHO WORKS THERE IS EXTREMELY RACIST AND RUDE HE CLOSED SHOP 5 min before closing date and refused to accept my parcel ! Unbelievable shocking behaviour and he shouted at me in front of all the customers you should train your staff I will be taking it further !

Very helpful chap saved me £10 by suggesting a different way of sending my parcels. Service for me excellent - but I did hold the queue up a bit. As he was the only person serving, the people behind migh have been less impressed.

I visited Quayside PostOffice Media City Salford Quays M50 3AG today Thursday 9th May 2024.

I went to Quay Side PostOffice to send some very important paperwork to my Solicitor next day delivery.

The member of staff behind the PostOffice was eating a packet of crisps whilst serving me and arranging the Special Next Day Service stickers to put on the envelope.

To be eating several Crisps whilst serving a customer is very rude, inappropriate and unprofessional.

The member off staff at the PostOffice kept putting Crisps in his mouth whist handling the post to be sent to my Solicitors.

This is not how PostOffice staff should behave whilst serving customers.

I will not be using this PostOffice again !!!

The person behind the counter asked me "how much do I want to spend?" sending my parcel. I asked him what the options were and he gave me one expensive option. I was shocked and then asked if there were any more. He kind of drip fed me the options as if I was begging him to read the very screen in front of me. He clearly didn't know what he was doing and in general lacks the common sense to provide good customer service. One star because another member of staff came and explained.
Also the lowry mall is sad and frumpy.

Post office is inside Newspoint shop that has moved to the accessible step-free lower floor location next to Fragrance shop, which is straight on if coming from entrance near Lowry theatre and then on left side. No longer on the top floor facing the food court as of 18 March. They have post and mailing supplies, plus postcards. They can print Royal Mail labels with no issue if you have the QR code (don't have it, don't blame them). Staff are super nice, giving quick and kind service.
