I have used George’s bespoke service for almost five years now, to assist me in designing, branding, launching and maintaining a successful podcast. George's knowledge of the genre and market was excellent, and his skill and creativity matched that expertise. I was able to brainstorm all aspects of the show with him, and while he'll tell you when something isn't likely to work in his opinion, I ultimately felt like I'd had a good say in what we came out with. I chose colour schemes, mood and vibe, and got to stick with the original name/title (which never happened to me in book publishing!).

After brainstorming moods and schemes, George designed several early logo ideas, which then resulted in a logo which has become highly recognisable and perfect for what we do. Don't get me wrong, though, he'll prevent you making the wrong decisions, which is inevitable for someone trying to brand for themselves nowadays, and for this honest and assertive ability to intervene I am always grateful. On top of this, he helped us rebrand our episode covers for five separate seasons, as well as doing occasional, and appropriately timed total deviations from our usual look (e.g. Christmas specials, one particular episode in Season 1 when we dropped BW for colour for a unique reason, etc.). We have also been able to rely on him to render and upload episodes to some of the platforms we use, too.

The success of the podcast branding has meant that I recommended George to a publisher, Albert Bridge Books, who then used his services to design a new cover for a book I'd written over a decade ago. This has also been a success, following a similar process.

Lastly, prices are fair for the great job done and skill/expertise brought to it, and I've always been confident that when we're paying it's because work and creative thinking is taking place that we simply wouldn't have been able to do ourselves. For these reasons, I'd highly recommend this service. The way I've seen George get his head around whatever research is needed also gives me confidence he'd have the versatility for a wide range of markets and ideas. A fantastic designer and reliable, committed consultant on a vital aspect of business in the modern world.
