I recently joined UVE, and have had a wonderful experience working with them!

The team at UVE are extremely kind, and have been very helpful with any questions I’ve had whilst I’ve been with them regarding jobs etc.

They are always super friendly, and are very informative regarding information for roles and dates.

Annoying. They confirmed and booked me for the 30th and 31st of July a month ago only to be released today, the 29th. They could have given me enough time so I could apply for other jobs but released me so last minute. Received this release message in an automated text without an ounce of an apology. They tell us to call them if we can no longer do the job, but when they need to tell us it’s through a text message. Something on the lines of “due to filming issues”. My friend has still been booked. Annoying. I don’t think these people realise by releasing people so late we lose money, money that can be used for rent and bills. And I really don’t want to hear how this is how the business is.

I had to chase the payment with the production on my own as they said they can’t do anything about this.
Got one job per year and they renewed my listing and charged me without asking for my consent. Sent couple of emails to ask to cancel my listing and refund me before it was activated - total ignorance from them.

They are useless as an agency and all that matters is to rip you off, scammers!

Coming from Greece not speaking good English I thought this extra stuff would be god send but i feel tricked. I was convinced to sign up and on phone they told me i would get work.
They take £30 of money, and i had a job booked in once, but i arrived to the place/set and they didnt know me why was there so called uextras and they said made a mistake on phone-app.
they would not even pay for my return bus from bristol to london after mistake - i lose money.
Do they care? no. Seems like scam/trickery. Mabe theft or illegal?

The worst casting agency in the country, they book you for a job, cancel you last minute every time, don’t pay you a late cancellation fee and they are very late with payments owning a lot of money to the artists.

First job with Universal, on the set of Department Q. Great communication from them at all stages.
Job was a lot of fun cast and crew all really friendly and helpful. Other extras all good as well. Catering was super.

As someone who has a dynamic disability (sometimes I use a walking stick/walker/wheelchair, sometimes I don't) my most recent experience on set was great.

They didn't end up using me in my wheelchair for the actual scene, but I was looked after behind the scenes. The AD's made sure I was looked after without making too much of a fuss over me. I was just another supporting artist like everyone else, which was great.

after 1 year of subscription ive had 0 jobs so its safe to say i wont be renewing.you learn that anyone charging a subsciption generally are scams.there are loads of agencies out there that only take a commission when they find you work with no upfront fees.please read other reviews before parting ways with your money
